I had been putting on weight over the years and now at the age of 39, my weight had increased to 104kg. I had high blood pressure and no energy. The main reason for ALL of this is not eating properly. I would eat a cereal or toast and have a cup of coffee before work or not eat breakfast at all. Little did I realise that eating what I was, or not having breakfast was causing me to snack throughout the day. I was always hungry and mostly grabbing for junk food everyday! I started on the Herbalife weight control programme on 1 December 2007. I had always heard stories about people being on diets and that they needed to cheat or could only eat certain foods but this wasn’t the case with Herbalife. Obviously I changed my eating habits and started eating healthy food. I found that the Formula 1 nutritional shake really filled me and tasted great. I took three spoons of Personal Protein Powder per shake together with the Fibre and Herb and Multivitamin tablets. I used the Thermojetics Herbal Concentrate (tea) as an enhancer four times a day. This gave me tremendous energy. After just 12 weeks on the programme, I had lost 20kgs! I lost more than 20cm (8inches) around my waist alone. My blood pressure has normalised without any medication and my energy levels have gone through the roof. I’m able to maintain my weight and good health. When you’re overweight you lose your self-confidence, and I’m so pleased that I’ve regained it and I look and feel great! Thank you Herbalife for changing my life forever!
